Gearing Up for Fall 2026

While our courses have more or less wound up for last semester, your Program Committee has been far from idle: interviewing new instructors, reviewing course proposals, contacting our partner locations and scheduling classes.

Once again we have more than 90 courses available: to check out their variety please view the Course Calendar. Two new locations have been added: the Gabriola branch of the Vancouver Island Regional Library, in Folklife Village, and St. Andrew’s United Church, at the corner of Fitzwilliam St. and Wesley St. in Nanaimo. Negotiations are under way to add two more sites before classes begin in September.

Registration opens at 8:30 am on Monday July 20th, and can be accessed through the Calendar, the “Courses and Lectures” menu item at the top of each of our webpages, or the “Become a Member/Register in a Course” button on our homepage.

Please note that memberships for 2025-26 expired on May 31st, so you will need a 2026-27 membership to register in the Fall courses.
