AI, National Security and Global Politics

Join us on May 9 for the final lecture in our Saturday Speakers Series on the perks and perils of artificial intelligence. John Pyrik will draw on his background with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service and the Canadian International Council to reflect on the need for careful human management of AI applications.

The lecture takes place at 10:00 am on Saturday May 9 at the Nanoose Place Community Centre, 2925 Northwest Bay Road, Nanoose Bay. All are welcome: MIEC members can register through their Amilia accounts; anyone can pay $10 in cash at the door.
